WWE Monday Night Raw
March 28, 2016
Barclays Center – Brooklyn, New York
It’s the final Raw before WrestleMania 32 and one can only hope WWE will go all-out for this show to sell their quote “biggest WrestleMania so far.” Will The New Day dance? Will Roman Reigns promo? WILL TRIPLE H UGH? It’s We Write Wrestling’s preview for the March 28, 2016 edition of WWE Monday Night Raw!
Intercontinental Championship Scramble
At WrestleMania, Kevin Owens will defend his Intercontinental Championship against Sami Zayn, The Miz, Stardust, Zack Ryder, Dolph Ziggler and Sin Cara in a 7-Man Ladder match. Last Monday, it looked as if this year’s Intercontinental title match was going to be a one-on-one, but now Owens has 6 other men to keep his eye on during the biggest event of the year while trying to retain his championship. There’s no doubt Owens will attempt to take at least one of these men out of action on the final Raw before the big event, but how will he do it?
AJ Styles vs. Chris Jericho at WrestleMania?
For weeks, AJ Styles and Chris Jericho have been going back-and-forth whether it be as teammates or opponents. Jericho has recently had a massive attitude change, resulting in him doing things such as distracting AJ Styles in his match with Intercontinental champion Kevin Owens. Things heated up last Monday when Styles tried to do the same in Jericho’s match against Fandango, but Jericho was able to win. Styles then went on to challenge Jericho to a rematch, this time, at WrestleMania. Jericho declined, saying AJ doesn’t deserve to be in the ring with him every again. Just 6 days away from WrestleMania and Jericho’s answer is still no, will AJ Styles try to change Y2J’s mind or will Styles be sitting in the crowd during his first WrestleMania?
Note: We Write Wrestling will have its NXT Takeover: Dallas preview and predictions tomorrow(Monday, March 28) and our WrestleMania 32 preview and predictions on Tuesday, March 29.
Future Hangs in the Balance
We all know the story, if Shane McMahon wins, he gets control of Monday Night Raw, but that requires him to defeat The Undertaker…. at WrestleMania…..in Hell in a Cell. For Undertaker, if he loses, he will be barred from ever competing at WrestleMania ever again. With both Undertaker and Shane fighting for things much bigger than themselves, will things explode just days from the event?
Since returning from the attack from Triple H, Roman has definitely taken the fight to the WWE World Heavyweight champion. Roman seems to have a new attitude and presence heading into his WrestleMania bout with Triple H, but is Triple H ready? The fight has been brought to him, will he come back on top, if he even comes back?
